Our public education system must prepare students for tomorrow's opportunities and challenges. With the experience gained through the various positions I have held, I believe I can make a significant contribution to ORR and our community.

Many, many thanks to everyone who came out last Friday to support the launch of this campaign!! And, to those of you who have reached out to help, remember that our Volunteer Welcome Get-Together is THIS Friday, March 14th from 6:30 pm - 8 pm.

As we recognize Massachusetts Civic Learning Week, I'm so pleased that the ORR District School Committee has approved a new half year course at the high school entitled, "215 Civics & Financial Literacy!" This course invites students to "explore the structure and functions of local and state government, as well as design a civics action project". The project "will focus on a student-identified need and require students to create a plan on how to engage the community to bring about change."
It is imperative that our students understand how their government works to become responsible and engaged citizens in our community and beyond. As a candidate, I applaud this new offering and hope to support other positive curriculum enhancements.

I am beyond grateful for everyone who came out to my campaign kick-off last night. Your support means the world to me, and I’m so excited for the journey ahead! More photos to come.

Today is also International Women’s Day, and I want to acknowledge the incredible women in my life who continue to lift me up, inspire me, and stand beside me. Your strength, wisdom, and encouragement fuel my passion to serve our students and community.
